Just curious ladies... was the old wives tale that morning sickness means that you are having a girl accurate for you?! I was not sick a day with my son, and this baby is giving me a run for my money (as well as a sprint for the bathroom).
Well I will not vote because it's too early to know, in my case, if I'm having a boy or a gal. All I know is I feel sick all the time. It is HORRIBLE. But worth it :)
Nice poll!
I had all day sickness with DS and couldn't eat beef forever! This time around, I had all day sickness - a bit more and couldn't eat or cook chicken for almost 7months and this time I'm having a girl!! So, I voted I was definitely sick with both sexes
Hey Actually its the other way around, everyone Ive ever talked to had morning sickness with there boys and not with girls..My aunt and both of my sisters and my mom agree. this is only my first pregnancy, and I was completly horribly sick for 2 months straight in my first trimester and Im having a boy... i dont know the only thing that Ive heard based on morning sickness is the more you have the less likely you are to have a m/c.... Hope you get what you want...
I had horrible morning (all day) sickness for the entire pregnancy and I had a boy. Am pregnant again, with another boy and going through the same sickness.
I have people telling me I am having a boy because I haven't been sick. My best friend was very sick her whole pregnancy and had a boy though so I don't believe the old wives tale. I'm only 7wks so way to early for me to know yet.
My sister had a boy and she had horrible morning sickness that eventually turned to hypermensis. My other sister never had morning sickness and had 2 girls. I had morning sickness and am having a girl.... So you really never know!
I had nausea all day every day for the entire first trimester, only got sick twice, but I had a boy. I'm not sure I believe any old wives tale because I had someone do the "pin on a string" thing to me and it said girl boy girl boy, it did the same for DH but I def had a boy first. Not sure what number 2 will be still trying for a BFP.
I was really ill with first DD and had no sickness with second DD. My sister had no morning sickness with both her boys. she experienced extreme heartburn with the boys when she was further along.
I had more nausea with my boys than my girls. We'll see if it holds true this time. I've been pretty nauseaus, haven't thrown up yet, but for some reason I keep thinking it's a girl.. We have a few months before we'll find out though.
I wasn't sick - just mildly queasy - the last time, and I had a boy.
This time, I had more nausea (mostly in the evening, caused vomiting) that lasted until week 15 - I don't know the gender.
I have a friend who didn't have any nausea the first time and had a boy. This time around, she was so sick that she was prescribed Diclectin - and her u/s shows she's having another boy.
I wasn't sick at all and i had a girl...same thing this time (not sick at all), not sure what i'm having this time yet though :) I think it's an ole wives tale.
No its a complete myth. With this pregnancy i had major sickness since day one,and i mean so bad,had carry sick bag with me,but having a boy.with my son I never had anything.so no truth in it.
I am now 8 weeks pregnant with my second child. I really don't believe any of those wives tales about having more sickness with girls. My first daughter was a girl and i rarely had any sickness with her. Now this pregnancy, i have it all the time. Well I'm hoping for a boy!
I used to believe it because I was so sick with my daughter....and I was so sick this time around that I was convinced I was having another girl but nope, boy this time. So I've been horribly sick with both, lol.
If only this was the way we could actually know what we are having instead of wait to find out- lol
Ive heard this and Ive been sick quite alot and everyone is saying you're having a girl I just know it- To the point that Im crazy and joining along and saying it lol- Guess we'll have to wait and see
i have horrible nausea that lasts all day and this yucky taste in my mouth that doesnt go away and im so tired...sorry i feel like im wining...
when i was preg with my son it was easy...no symptoms at all...could eat anything i wanted...when i was preg again with another boy (loss him at 18 weeks) i could not stand the smell
of chicken but otherwise no nausea and i wasnt as tired
this time though...im getting a run for my money....i am always tired...cannot eat any meat...i joke that i am a new vegetarian but its true...the thought of meat makes me sick and my stomach is so bloated all the time...im already showing and only 9 weeks!!!
i would like a girl but will be happy with either...the gender calanders say its a boy but they also say that my son was a girl so we'll see...regardless its a 50/50
i'm 17weeks with a boy and i never ever get sick..i dont even feel pregnant ..i feel the same as before..no symptoms of pregnancy..
i dont look at being or not being sick that it predicts the gender..i think it predicts if your gonna have a calm well behaved child or a bat out of hell child...lol
i was sick with my daughter every day and she was that bat out of hell child...lol 20 yrs later she is the best thank god!!
To all of you i am wishing the best for your babies..may they all be healthy
