My baby has gastroschisis any one going through or had the same prob can give me advice

I whent for my second scan monday and i found out that my baby has gastroschisis i am so scared of loosing my baby im am 14weeks 2morro and i couldent bare anything happerning to my baby its so hard im going to have a premature baby and i have to give birth in bristo at 35 37 weeks im not going to be able to hold her or feed her for about 6 12 weeks has anyone been in the same situation that can give me advice x x thnk you

My daughter had something like this when she was born.  She had an omphalocele.  The only difference I think was her intestines were in a "sack".  I'm  not sure why you would deliver early because they wanted me to carry as long as possible so she could grow as strong as possible for surgery.  I delivered at 38 weeks.  She got surgery at 2 days old and was discharged 7 days after birth.  I got many, many ultrasounds to chart how it was growing during my pregnancy.  They actually couldn't confirm if my daughter had an omphalocele or a gastroschisis until I delivered.  It was very scary - but she is absolutely fine now.  Let me know if you have any other questions.
