My period is about 11 days late. I took a pregnany test 3 days ago and it was negative. I have no signs or symptoms of pregnancy.

In the beginning of September, I had an abortion. I bled for about 3-4 weeks after that, and the doctor said that was normal and that is wasn't my period at all. I started taking birth control the day after the operation, and when it was time for my period to come around, I skipped the placebo pills and continued taking the birth control pills.
So I should have gotten my period 11 days ago, but nothing has happened.
I have been under a GREAT deal of stress for the past few weeks and also on antibiotics for a rash that I developed in my pubic region. I also just got over a yeast infection. And now to top it all off, I have the flu.
Should I be worried that I AM pregnant, or do you think its just because my body is all out whack?

i dont think you would still be pregnent if you hade abortion but you can take a test to make sure it could be that you body is in a whack and even mix up give your body time

If you skipped the placebo pills and continued with a new pack of pills you most likely will not get a period.

Yeah, you wont get a period. but I bet if you didnt skip those couple pills you would have gotten your period. That is why they put those pills in the pack, so that you can get a period.

actually the placebo pills are just sugar pills....they can actually make you gain weight! Im pretty sure the only reason thoes pills are there is so you dont have to stop taking pills...that way you dont forget when to start your new pack! I dont think your pregnant i think its because you didnt have your break in between packs! Be sure to use condoms as well as taking your b.c the same time everyday if you do not want to be pregnant agin! Good luck

I did take the placebo pills this month though, I didn't skip them. So I should have gotten my period about two weeks ago. I'm going to get another test in a few days. I still sort of think that its my body being under a lot of stress and all out of whack and everything.
