NEED HELP!29 weeks pregnant and on methaone.. how long will it take to get out of system??

I am 29 weeks pregnant and have been taking methadone here past few weeks and i just stopped but i am scared one i have the baby it will be addicted and show up in his blood test and ill have the baby taken away.. i do NOT want this to happen i need some help to know if i will be okay and mine and my baby boys system will be clean.. some one help please!!

Discuss with your doctor.  If you are  taking this without your drs consent then you need to make your doctor aware of this to make sure your baby is monitored appropriately for complications - your babys health must come first.

FYI any drugs taken during pregnancy will be present in babys hair.  If mother was suspected of illegal drug during pregnancy testing babys hair is a possibility.

Any drugs taken during pregnancy should either be perscribed by the doctor OR the doctor should be made aware of this.

I agree with everyone to talkto your dr. But I know a few people who were taking methadone while they were pregnant and they still have their babies. But the dr prescribed it. So see what he/she says. Good luck
