Name Poll: which one is better?

Ok ladies, any opinions would be much appreciated!

Which name do you like better......... Teegan........or..........Skyler (Sky for short)?

Or we were thinking Teegan Skye.. ?

I knew a girl named Skyler and I didn't like the name when she had it, so I can't say I like that one.

But Teegan is very interesting! I like JUST Sky!

Me too. That's what I have been secretly thinking in my head- just naming him Sky. I think it sounds really good with his last name- Sky Leithauser

What would be some good middle names for that???

i picked out the name teegan kyler if DH and i have another boy but DH isn't to big on the teegan so we are going with kyler preslin

Hmmm...that is funny how we all see things differently-I saw Teegan and thought of it as a girl's name...I like Skylar...especially because you can call him Sky...that sounds really nice...to me!

the only reason i say this is b/c its an ongoing discussion w/in dh's family...  but i also think Skyler/Skylar is a girl's name.

i don't think i've ever come accross the name Teegan though...  i wouldn't use it for a girl but i've never heard it enough to say that i like it for a boy...  guess i'm not much help, huh?!?!  sorry, wild blue!!!!

dh and i still can't agree on our boy's name either...  i think naming a boy is a lot harder than it used to be!

yea... they both are unisex names. We have been calling the baby Teegan since like 12 weeks when I "knew" it was a boy. All my friends say it sounds trashy... :( and the more I say it the more I don't like it.

I like Leelan that adawning4 suggested. but would that sound funny with the last name... Leelan Leithauser?  (its pronounced Light-houser)

I'll have to think more about Greyson, I dont know if I like it or not..

I love the name leelan Its not a extremely different name nor is it used 100 million times over!
Cadence is girly, Its my 4 yr old daughters name

I can just see him at 15 wazzup T haha...  You might want to give him a more traditional middle name if you go for a unique first name that way he would have some options if he gets older and doesn´t like it...  I like skyler james but sky james sounds funny... but no one uses their first and middle name together... if anyone asks him his full name he will say skyler james not sky james...  so it would be ok... maybe skyler nethaniel... or you could be like my cousin haha.. she named her son sky-tyler.. one name haha...

The only problem with Teegan Sky is that everybody hates the name Teegan. My mom offered me $1000 not to name him Teegan, and she's serious.. I don't want to hear for the rest of my life what a horrible name I picked ya know?

Skyler James is nice. I'll talk to my bf about it and see what he thinks..

Or maybe I'll name him Teegan Sky and when he turns like 3 or 4 (or how ever old it is that kids can start making decisions) I'll ask him and let him choose which he would like to be called....

sky is more of a girls name, just like skyler. my boyfriend wants to name our baby Sky if it is a girl but i just dont like that name at all, its too short. Plus i know too many annoying people with the name skyler. I like Teegan but again...as a girls name not a boy name.
