Need some advise, any will help I am very confused!

Alright so my last mentral period was June 18 2008 in mid cycle I had some cramping and spotting. The spotting was brown discharge then bright pink and it lasted on and off for less than 2 days.  I have never experienced spotting before so it is very unussual.  Also my period was supposed to come yesterday and nothing I don't feel like it is coming.  I have read some articles about implantation bleeding and it sure sounds like I had that but has any one else experienced it? And if so when would I be able to take a preganacy test and have it be accurate?

I tested positive a day after period was due.  So it is definitely accurate to test now, however it is possible to get a false negative.  My SIL didn't get a positive test until 2 months pregnant, but she thinks she had dud tests.  So if it's negative then I would test again in a week if period doesn't show up.

I am experiencing something similar.  I am only 6 DPO, and today at slight brown discharge.  AF isn't due for another 8 days, and I've never experienced this before.

I read that implantation bleeding usually occurs 6 - 12 DPO, so who knows, maybe we are experiencing that.  At least I hope that's what it is!

So you think if I did a test today even though I am only one day late it should show a accurate result either way?

Also could you have ovulated late, it also sounds to me like ovulation symptoms, such as spotting, and cramping. Good Luck
