Negative HPT, Positive BPT

Has anyone every had negative HPT but positive BPT.  I'm two weeks past my missed period and what I thought was implantation bleeding, but HPT is still negative (as of this AM)??? I have a call out to my GYN - wondering if I should  get a blood test, wait and see if I get December's period or if I have something wrong with me :( Note - I have never in my 10 years of menstruating ever missed a period.  My husband and I have been trying to conceive. Any advice?

Its possible to come up - on a HPT and + on a blood test. It very rarely happens but it does happen. If you are convinced that you are pregnant than I say go for it what can it hurt right! :)

I am going through this same thing!! It is possible to get a blood + and a - HPT.....Lets hope that you and I are one of those ppl!  I go tomorrow to get a blood test.  Call your dr. and get a blood test.  Good luck!

yep difinatly I kept getting BFN on the HPT's went for blood work and BFP.....good luck

How far were you past your missed period? I am about 2 weeks past when my period was supposed to start. My dr is insisting that I didn't ovulate this month - her & her nurse are pretty set on treating me to get me regular again - I HAVE NEVER MISSED A PERIOD IN MY LIFE! I am so frustrated right now.
