test I took at the lab this morning. The told us that it's "critical" and that "we can't tell if it's positive or negative."
How can they not know?! This is so confusing! They said I can't come back for another test for 48 hours so they went ahead and scheduled it ... But I just don't get it, who can they NOT know?!
Has this ever happened to any of you or someone you know? What happened?
But the thing is I took HPT yesterday morning before we went to the dr and it was positive. So I don't understand how a hospital / lab can't tell when they're probably using stuff to test that cost more and you'd think would be more acurit than my little $5 one at home....
The way they do it here is you have to have their urine
test then hopefully I'll get my BFP from them and can do the blood test soon... I want/need some solid answers from them... It's going to drive me crazy not knowing!!
at the doc. Home tests are very sensitive these days with some picking up an hcg level as low as 10.5. Doc test usually start at 50 or 100 so when you go tomorrow try holding your urine
as long as possible. They could of had a very faint positive where they werent comfortable saying yes or no. My midwife always told me you shouldnt have to search for the positive line, if you do wait and test again. So maybe thats their theory too. You can feel pretty comfortable that your pg if you got a positive home test im sure the doc one will be tomorrow they are just having you wait so your hcg levels rise. Best of luck n keep us updated!!
Thanks Grandmatobe and Raerae336 I hope everything works out tomorrow and we get positive results back!!!! I'd be so sad if they're not.. Which is why in trying not to get my hopes up but it's hard with the hpt from yestrday.
