New Choice HPT (Dollar Store brand)

New Choice HPT (Dollar Store brand)

Hello ladies!  Has anyone ever used the New Choice (Dollar Store) hpt?  We've been TTC for about  5 months now and I'm going broke with brand name hpt's so I decided to buy in bulk from the Dollar Store.  My LMP was 6-27 and ended 7-1.  We b'd 7-2, 7-3 and 7-5 and I'm pretty sure I O'd around 7-7 or 7-8.  Had some spotting and light red blood starting on 7-12 that is still kind of going on (just some very, very light brown discharge with what seems like EWCM mixed in).  It would be WAY too early for it to my period since I'm not supposed to get it until 7-22 but I've never had mid-cycle bleeding before.  I did not have implantation bleeding with my son, but I know every pregnancy is different.  I had sore BB's last week but nothing in the past 3 days along with some slight abdominal cramping (nothing like period cramps, extreme moodiness, and left pelvic pain.  I checked my cervix and it is still high but open and have the EWCM mixed in (sorry if TMI).  I haven't charted my BBT this month and I did not use an OPK that is why I am assuming when I O'd based on cervical position and EWCM.

My question is it too soon to be testing with a Dollar Store hpt?  I got what I thought was a faint positive with a Wal-Mart hpt Thursday afternoon and tried a Dollar Store one Thursday evening, Fri morning/night, Sat morning and this morning and they were all BFN.  They say they are able to detect at 20 ml/u but I was wondering if anyone got a BFP with one BEFORE they missed their period.  Should I try one of those new FRER hpt that claims it can detect it at 5 days before missed period? I know I should wait to test but we all know how hard it is too wait...lol!  Thanks everyone and baby dust to all!

I TOO USED DOLLAR STORE AND BIG LOTS TEST AND GOT BFN THEN ABOUT 1 WEEK AFTER MY PERIOD WAS DUE I TRYED CVS 100 ML TEST AND  GOT A BFP SO IM NOT SURE THAT I WOULD TRUST DOLLAR STORE TEST (IT WAS ONLY LIKE 3 DAY FROM THE LAST DOLLAR STORE TEST TO THE 100ML TEST) AS FAR AS INPLANTATION (implantation) BLEEDING AND CERVICAL POSITION IF YOU HAVE HAD A CHILD BEFORE YOUR CERVIX WILL REMAIN OPEN LIKE A SLIT () IF THAT HELPS GOOD LUCK!

I still haven't got AF or a BFP.  I'm wondering now if when I had midcycle bleeding on July 12th (cd 16) was really AF, just a toned down version.  If that is the case then I'm now on cd 19 of a new cycle and I'm supposed to get AF on Aug. 5.  I bought some clear blue easy hpt, the +/- one as I heard the digital ones are not as sensitive.  I'm currently experiencing a "tugging" sensation in my lower abdominal/pelvic area and I have a TON of thick, white cm.  Since my last cycle was kind of screwy I have no idea when I ovulated but I typically ovulate around cd 12, so today would put me at 7dpo if that was the case.  Do you think it is too to test with a clear blue easy?  I'm due for AF in 6 days.  When I was pregnant with my son 5 years ago I tested with a generic test because I knew I was about 10 days late but I attributed it to stress when AF was late.  I got a BFP within seconds.  Thanks again!

The dollar store tests that I used worked at 9 days post ovulation.... I used a first response and got my bfp so I bought about 10 dollar store tests  and took them over the next few days and were all positive and none of them were used with fmu
I live in Canada so I don't know if our dollar store tests are any different
