No thyroid and miscarriage and pregnancy

I had my thyroid removed five years ago.  I recently had my first miscarriage this week at6 weeks pregnant.   My doctor says its not likely for the miscarriage to have been cause by my thyroid.  Although I cannot try again until my levels are ok to try again.  But I am just curious if any other women out there have had pregnancies, miscarriages, or births without having a thyroid.

I'm sorry for your loss. I still have my thyroid but have gotten the radioactive treatment to shrink mine about 5 years ago too.
I was concerned that maybe my thyroid had something to do with a miscarriage I had at 5 weeks. Which I guess is not the case but I do know that it can be difficult TTC with a thyroid imbalance. I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and my baby is completely fine...now I have to take a very low dose because my thyroid has started to go hypo. I'm sure your doc can work something out for you.....you have to be taking some type of medication right?
