Nursing and Starting Period Again

by mim181, Aug 11, 2009 09:07AM
For any nursing mom could you please help me?  I have slowly weaned my little one after breastfeeding for 5 months because I have to go back to work and my schedule is to hectic to continue.  I started in July, just eliminating one feeding at a time.  We are now completely weaned and for the past week, I feel like AF should be coming, but she just doesn't.  Any insight into how long after weaning she come back?

Mine varied with each child but some people don't start up again until their baby is around 14mths old.

i started exactly 4 weeks later, but was very irregular for a while after. The next one didn't appear until 8 weeks later.
