OT...pain in breast

by bioclock1, Mar 28, 2008 04:54PM
So I know this isn't a pregnancy related question but I wanted to hear your thoughts. For the past 10 days or so I've been getting this semi-painful sensation in my right breasts. It's not nipple pain like a lot of women say they have as a pregnancy symptom. This just kinda shoots across the middle of my breast and lingers for about 45 sec to a full 2 minutes and then subsides. Im not sure if estrogen dominance could cause this side effect (i'm currently conducting salvia testing for hormonal imbalance) but it's a little unnerving to suddenly have pain in a breast that I"ve never had pain in before. So, I thought i'd get all your thoughts...did you ever feel this kind of pain? Do you know what causes it?
No worries just curious!

Hi. I have this same kind of pain in my breast tissue areas for every month that I can remember.  I just read an article about breasts and womens ages and how their breasts change over time.  In the article, it said that breast pain like that is commen in women through their 30's.  It is related to hormones.  (Mine are like like sudden, sharp, shooting pains, that linger, and happen several times in a fairly short time frame)  Hope that helps.

Yes! It helps tremendously, thanks! The pain feels the same way to me, shooting pain is a good description. It feels like its deep and will happen a couple days and then stop for a while. Hormones makes sense! thanks again.
