Well, I will be 33weeks this week and Still haven’t packed my bags let. Which is a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys weird for me, I always have to be on top of things! I am not at all a procrastinated!!! So, I’m guessing Its just doesn’t feel "real" let? If that makes sense!? Like, the time has gone by so fast, I feel like I still need a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys more time...... So, when did you all pack your bags? And when do you think they should be packed by(lastest) LOL........
lol i'm 32 weeks today and am "in the process" lol I started this past weekend and i'm slowly working on my bag....still gotta get babies packed....got most of his stuff together just gotta get it in the bag lol
I think I packed my bags close to the halfway mark... but I'm incredibly organized and have to have all the details figured out. It wasn't because I was afraid of early labor... it was because I just wanted everything done!
I would say 37 weeks should be the latest you get packed since you're considered full term at that point!!!
That's because you're contending with all of those pregnancy hormones! Don't worry, you'll get that "nesting bug" soon and you'll be scrubbing your baseboards with a toothbrush and your hospital bag will be in the trunk!
I think for me, part of the reason I haven't packed at 35 weeks is b/c I don't want to jinx anything. I've been such a nervous wreck this whole pregnancy that something was going to go wrong that I haven't washed any clothes from the shower or anything... But - time's a wastin!!
I am 33 weeks this week too and have not packed my bag yet. I was planning on doing it though around week 35 or 36 to be prepared. Don't worry....you will be just fine:) There is a lot to think about right now!
Im getting ready to get discharged and I will tell you now the main things you will need will be socks and your own snacks. My room is freezing; so I'm glad I packed the baby both long & short sleeve gowns. Also get:
*a good nursing bra (milkBreast milk Breast milk jaundice Lactose intolerance Nipple discharge - abnormal is coming in and boobs are very heavy today)
*deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, showershoes, lite-weight robe
*if you prefer some airfresherner...my room smellsSmell - impaired Stools - foul smelling, well hell like hospital! :)
*comfy clothes to wear home...i'm back down to my 4mth maternity clothes; nah nah na boo boo!!!
anything else i can think of i'll let you know! Good luck ladies, your time is coming!
LOL. I think I haven't done it yet for a few reasons. I'm working full time and taking care of a house and 3 other kids....this will be my 5th delivery so I'mjust like "yeah whatever"....and I do tend to get paranoid about jinxing myself lol. BUT with this being delivery # 5 I could go much earlier and faster so I really should get on the ball I only have 5 weeks til I"m considered term and i could easily go before then. I have most of MY things packed...just gotta add a few more items. I got a backpack today for babys stuff (I hate diaper bags..backpacks work better for me) so I just gotta get everything put IN it. I've got pack my other three kids their "keep me occupied" bags becuase I have a feeling I won't have anyone to watch them and they'll be in the delivery room with hubby and I. AND last but not least I had to put the stroller/carseat together and swap everyones seats around to install the carseat. THEN I think I'm ready LOL.
