Ok......just a question

by loismwallace, Jan 16, 2008 09:47AM
This may sound stupid, but I'm just curious, not worried, YET! Last night I took a Benadryl for itching. I haven't felt my baby move this AM and she is always active in the morning. Is it possible the Benadryl has put her to sleep? I know it makes me drousy...I'm only 19w2d, but I have been feeling her move since around 15wks...every monring like clock work.

Benadryl KNOCKS me out!  I remember when my doc said I could take Benadryl and I thought that was crazy because of the reaction that I get from it!  You should drink a large sugary drink to wake her up & put your mind at ease!

The benadryl could have made her sleepy or more relaxed or maybe she was just being quiet this morning! =) I take benadryl for my allergies/sinus problems, haven't really noticed any difference in my baby though. But then again, everyone is different and is affected in a different way. Like sck08 said, drink a sugary drink, I'm sure she'll wake up! =)
