Since stopping the pill, I have failed to get my period. I'm guessing it's just going to take a while to get back to regularRegular insulin, as I was always regularRegular insulin before going on the pill. Someone on this mb said that without a period, one can't get pregnant, but I've read many sources saying that many people ovulate even though they hardly ever get their periods. With that being said, I would love answers to the following questions:
1. How do you track ovulation when you aren't getting your periods?
2. If the answer to tracking ovulation is ovulation predictor kits, when would I even use one? I heard the kits only have a few pee sticks, so wouldn't I at least have to estimate approximately when I thought I would ovulate, and how to I do that without periods?
Now I just found conflicting information on the internet saying no period = no ovulation. There are too many darn sources out there. Anyone know for sure?
My doc says you ovulate before getting a period - i have been on the pill for 5 years and for the past 9 months my periods have stopped - i am now 14weeks 2 days pregnant - I have been on the pill the entire time and had no period so definately possible!!!!

For 9 months on this new pill my periods were non existant. I had 7 days pill free but no withdrawal bleed.
I didnt ever expect to fall pregnant as i was on the pill and never missed a single one.
I didnt find out i was expecting until i had serious cramping at 6 and a half weeks and i decided to have the coil fitted! Only sign i had was extremely sore nipples but this went away.
