Period stopped then resumed - Ovulation Tracker

Hi everyone, wonder if anyone can help me. I started my period on Tuesday the 4th, had heavy bleeding for 2 days and then yesterday there was absolutely nothing. Not even a spot. Today it resumed with brown bleeding. My husband and I are ttc. I took a test on Saturday past and it was negative, then my period came on Tuesday. When putting in the data on my tracker, I don't know what to put for yesterday because if i leave it blank or put spotting, it recounts my cycle day as day one.
