Please break my tie!

So I posted my poll on Addyson/Adalyn well Addyson Lynn won, well I have really been tossing the middle name of JoLynn around instead of just Lynn What do you think? OH Ps. my moms middle name is Jo and his mom as well as mine is Lynn I posted this on the May 09 baby forum but there is only a handful of us over there that like to play, So could you be so kind to break my tie?? Thank Ya!

Hey.... I'm a sucker for lynn only  my brother and Mom's middle names are Lynn, Karen Lynn and James Lynn.

Jolynn is different too tho... I voted for Lynn. :)

Since you are looking for a tiebreaker, I will post my thought:

I love the IDEA of JoLynn being a very sentimental family name, and think it's a beautiful name, but ...

Addyson is a three-syllable name (fairly long to pronounce) and I think that if one of the names is long, it sounds better when paired with a short one-syllable name.  It gives the name more of a flow off your lips.

Because of this I vote for Addyson Lynn, but I don't think it's a big deal.  I think Addyson JoLynn is a perfectly beautiful name, and I'm sure she will be proud no matter what you choose.

Thank ya ladies, I think Addyson JoLynn is a long name too, but my last name is very short so when said all together it dosent sound bad :) My Hubby agrees with the majority of you guys he likes just Lynn, I love it too, it's my middle name, I was just thinking what can I do to be a little different, I will probly wait till she is born and look at her and see if one is more suiting after I meet her! Who knows! LOL Thanks ya'll

Honestly...I don't really like either middle name for Addyson. If I had to choose one though it would be Lynn. Its shorter and sounds better. lol sorry!

I voted but didn't comment...but the reason why I chose just Lynn was because I thought the two names were just two long together...BUT it was a nice thought to put them together =)

I voted for Lynn. It's my youngest daughter's middle name (Abigail Lynn) and it is after her Nonna, Lindee (I just spelled it different).

Anyway, love the sentimental reason behind the other one but agree that a two-syllable name needs a one-syllable middle name.

Addyson is GORGEOUS by the way! I have a little niece named that and we call her Addy.

i like the name lynn it is my sis middle name if & when dh and i have a girl i have picked out 2 names.....loralynn joleigh  after my mom,sis,me,dh, and my MIL-or- khloe delayne! even though loralynn joleigh is a mouthful i still like the way it sounds either name is great and addyson is a beautiful name.....addy would be a great name for short!
