Please help why am I bleeding?

So I just had my son almost 9 weeks ago. I stopped postpartum bleeding at about 4 weeks and then I got my period 6 weeks postpartum. Yesterday morning (8 weeks postpartum I started to bleed so I put a pad on thinking I would have a lot more but when I went to the restroom the bleeding stopped and there was only a little bit of blood on the pad. This morning again I had a little bit of bleeding just like yesterday it was just a little. Is it just my body adjusting? I am not used to bleeding without a period and my period were always 28 day cycles and they were pretty heavy. What is going on? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
