Please read everyone please

i know some of u are against abortion strongly but remember everyone have to live with the decisons they make if u come across a post where person say they had or the person is thinkin about an abortion just leave the post alone if u aret goin to say something good ok respect other people's choices

I'm not gonna debate this subject as we've alredy crossed this bridge many times on here...I will make one statement regarding this though:

This is a "PREGNANCY" forum...it is also an OPEN, PUBLIC forum...just as those people have had abortions have the right to post, so do those who are against it.  People come on here seeking advice and opinions and that's exactly what they get...whether they like them or not.  NONE of us should have to tip toe around to prevent offending someone.  If RESPECT was an issue people wouldn't come on here so casually speaking of killing their babies when so many women on here have experienced one or more losses or are having difficulty conceiving to begin with.

I am sorry, but for a person to come to this board and announce that they have had an abrotion.... There is an abortion board for that type of thing..... I wouldn't be caught dead in here posting about abortion because I have enough common sense and consideration to think of all the women in this room are TTC or who are going through m/c.......... I really think someone that is considering an abortion or who has gotten one, needs to post on an abortion board because the pregnancy board certaintly isn't one they need to be posting on........ I think I speak for all the girls on this board when I say that it is tough coming here.. WE ALL share our personal thoughts and feelings about TTC and even being pregnant.... And we become close almost like family.. And to have somoeone come in here and post something like that... It's not only wrong, but it's disrespectful! There are plenty of women I know  in here that WOULD LOVE the chance to hear that they are pregnant....... And you yourself are stepping in VERY VERY EMOTIONAL TERRITORY!

i respect ur opinions but after all not everyone here is pregnant am not goin to debate this am sorry for those who have lost  precious angels i lost 2 myself so its no hard feeling on my end i just feel as though people who have abortions are treated unfair because of there actions

I don't feel it's unfair, and they are getting advice and sadly some of us will sprinkle some of our attitudes on that subject.  Like it was stated there is a separate board for those kinds of issues - and I feel it would be more apporiate if people would read what kinds of forums there are on here.

Im the one who started this heated debate and I am sorry for that.  I gave the girl advice and I just simply injected that I hope she's not looking for sympathy about how painful the prodcedure was - and that I wouldn't be the one to give.  But I gave her good advice about the subject she was asking about.

How about instead of giving really mean advice to others...you just ignore and move on.  I'm sorry for everyones lose, but that dosen't give you the right to say such hurtful things.  Just like they have no clue what you went through...you too have no clue what they went through and are going through.  Yes this is a public forum, but I still think that if you can't be respectful towards others then please just ignore.  Or tell them that they might find better advice on a different forum.  It's MLK day...everyone no matter what they decide should always be treated with respect.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH LOSINGMYMINDINGA!!!!!  If you don't want to hear what everyone has to say, then don't ask!!!!  If you want an abortion, go to the abortion forum!!!!  And to say that we don't know what these girls/women have gone through....Are you kidding me???  Do you know how many of us have been young and pregnant????  Or how many of us have gotten pregnant when it wasn't necessarily "convenient" at that time in our lives.  Many of us!!!  I know exactly how it feels....As do many other women that come on this forum.  That's probably one of the reasons that we get so emotional about it.  We do know.  There are women on here that have had abortions in their past and regret it.  Often times, they are trying to help the next girl think so that she doesn't have to live with the same regret they do.  We really do try to give good advice to the best of ouor knowledge.  And we try not to be judgmental.  But that is a tall order sometimes.  Okay, okay....I'm going on and on.  LosingMyMindInGA said exactly what I wanted to say.

Yes, that is what I believe as well, KellyA. And I got flack for it with sexy dandy questioning my Christian beliefs, which has nothing at all to do with it! There are a few people I ignore on here and so I'm just letting this one go! LOL! I have better things to do than get heated up over an issue that NO ONE will ever agree on. I am willing and able to help a woman who needs help after an abortion, but there needs to be discretion and respect at the same time. This really is the wrong plcae to post about abortion and saying so doesn't mean I'm being rude or unChristian to someone who's had an abortion. We all make mistakes!

as loosingmymindinga said....this is an open, public forum. if someone doesn't want to hear EVERYBODIES opinions they shouldn't be posting and as quiet a few have stated if you want to discuss and get sympathy for killing your baby GO TO AN ABORTION FORUM!  with how many gals are ttc and have had/going through a m/c WHY post that you just voluntarily aborted your baby and ask for answers??? going onto a pregnancy forum with that is bound to bring up sore opinions. whether that individual likes it or not. if they don't like....they don't need to post here. if you can't take what others think/feel....don't say anything. it's their honest feelings and advice. not everyone is going to like what everyone else says. (especially when it comes to baby/fetus/whatever you consider that tiny person in you killing)
