Pregnancy tests....

Pregnancy tests....

Hi hope all you ladies are well,
Just a quick question......I once heard someone say that when doing a pregnancy test if you get a strong positive line then it is a "good strong" pregnancy. What do you think that means?? Does it really matter whether it is a faintish positive line or a dark clear one??

as far as i no a faint line there arent enough HCG yet for the test to detect because its too early in the pregnancy. when its darker it just means there's more.

some women think that if the line is dark there is more hcg but some pregnancy tests even if you are 10 weeks pregnant just the way they are manufactured have fainter lines.  as long as there are 2 lines or whatever the test says is a pocitive then you are good.

2 lines no matter how dark are always the same. You could have a whole bunch of hcg in your system and have a terminated pregnancy just as easily as not very much and have an extremely healthy one. Hcg levels never matter the amount but that they double every 48-72 hours.

I would say no.  The one time I was preg the line was very strong and I miscarried 10 weeks later.  I have also heard of ladies not getting a positive test until 4 weeks or later and have had healthy babies.
