Pregnant?

My gyn says that i am 6 wks and 3 days pregnant but he did the sonogram, He said he could see the sac but not a fetus. How could that possible? Is it normal for this to happen?

Your still pretty early.I bet if you went back in a week or two you would be able to see the fetus. thats why alot of drs don't want you to have a sonogram until your further along. just so your  not stressed out. but also if your doctor didn't seem stressed then you have nothing to worry about

it's usual not to see ANYTHING till between 7 and 8 weeks. by that stage, you should see a heartbeat, sac and possibly a fetal pole.

I just had an ultasound at 6 weeks myself just yesterday and they too said they didnt see anything yet. They said they see a sac but have not seen the fetus yet.I as well am freaking out but I keep telling myself that it is early and that due to the fact that I am feeling fine and it is early that  I should not worry.I wish you and your husband the best and again I know what you are going through.
