Progesterone Pills...PLEASE HELP!

Anyone out there have low hcgs and progesterone and have a healthy baby? The pills make be feel horrible and have night terrors. dont want to take them...please help!!

How low was ur HCG and prog levels ?

My hcg is only 569. And my progesterone last time i checked last week was only 5.. :(

How many weeks r u??? I was prescribed progesterone suppositories once and it didn't work. I felt it only delayed the inevitable. There is a lot of controversy surrounding their use as a lot of doctors feel that it doesn't prevent a miscarriage really, but instead just prolongs a "bad" pregnancy. Just wish for the best.

I use the suppositories-three times a day. I have never had a side effect. Ask your doctor for an alternative. There is also a progesterone shot you can take. Hope all goes well-I wouldn't want the night terrors either.

Are your hcg levels doubling every two days? I believe that they can be low as long as they are doubling. How far along are you?

I am probably just starting week 6 so my numbers are extremely low and taking about 4 days to double.

I dont know my progesterone but on 10/18 it was 5...doesnt look good does it?

I have heard that if your numbers go up, you are okay. My fertility doctor said he likes to see them go up significantly. I had a transfer two weeks and four days ago. On Tuesday (two weeks after transfer) my hcg level was 136. Two days later it went up to 270. I haven't had them tested since but am due to go to the doctor on the 8th to see the heartbeat. I haven't got my progesterone results back yet but am on 600 mg supposortories a day. I wish you all the best.

ask for progesterone supossitories instead or the cream =)
