Progesterone levels

I had very low progesterone levels with my first daughter and i was given progesterone cream to keep the pregnancy going. I am PG again and I PG again. I am now going to a different doctor and they claim that they do not agree that the cream helps. I do not want to loss my baby. Do you think this pregnancy might be different?

Tell your doc to test your progesterone levels. If they are low, then they'll give you prog. supplementation (usually in the form of shots). Every pregnancy is different and just because you had low prog. once, doesn't mean you always will. But CHECK! Better to err on the side of caution. If your doc will not do it, GET A NEW DOC!
