Provera and Clomid

by gaol, Jan 28, 2008 08:20AM
I want to get pregnant, so my gynecologist has given me a prescription for Provera and Clomid. I take 5 pills of Provera of the first of each month, then I need to wait for my period, and on the 5th day of my period I start taking 5 pills of Clomid. My question is: Should I continue taking Provera if I dont know Im pregnant? I mean,,, I can do the test on the 3rd (5 days before expected period) but it will be the 3rd day of taking Provera. I read Provera can cause miscarriage. Please advice. Thank you.
