Question!....

To all those who helped me before, Thank You. However, I miscarried on December 9th. I went the the ER and the doctor there prescribed me Vicodin and Methergine for the cramping and bleeding. Now, its almost 2 weeks later and im still bleeding. sometimes alot, and sometimes not so much. Is This normal? I have a doctors appointment on the 20th and i have yet to tell them i miscarried cause i still want to go and be checked out to make sure everything is fine. i dont want to have any thing left over and then not be able to have a baby again. And another question, when is it safe to have unprotected sex again? i know i cant get pregnant until i have a natural period, but is it still safe to have sex without condoms until then?

Im sorry for your loss.its not unusual to bleed for few weeks following mc.it will ease off..i would have thought er would inform your doc of what happened,they may do a scan to see if any tissue is left inside.its safe to resume sex again once the bleeding stops,they will probably advice you to allow a cycle or 2 to make sure your body is back to normal...i would wait till the bleeding stops,so you dont cause an infection,....
