So, I went back to the er last night, can you tell me is these results are normal?

OK, so I went to er last thursday cause I had brown spotting, my hcg was 506, and my ultrasound only showed a thick lining......I went back last night for some answers and my hcg had jumped to 7000 and there was a visible gestational sac in my uterus......does it sound like things are progressing ok?  is it ok that the sac was empty?  based on my ovulation date i would be like 5 weeks and 1 day i think...so are these results ok? is it good that my hcg did a little more then double?  if it ONLY doubled in the time frame from thuir to yesterday i calculated it should have been around 4000 but it was 7000.....thanks so much for the help!

I went to the ER when I was 5w6d and all they could see was the gestational sac and yolk sac, no baby and no heartbeat and my HCG was 9000.  Two weeks later they seen baby and heartbeat...everything looks good.

Based on that chart and what you are seeing everything sounds great.  at 5 wks 3 days all we saw was a gestational sac, NO fetal pole, NO yolk sac.  But 3 weeks later we saw the baby, heartbeat and yolk sac no problem.  

It sounds like everything is right on track.
