Sore breasts help please?

by sxyduckies05, Jan 14, 2008 03:50PM
Ok well I posted a question earlier and no one responded so i'm gonna do it again in hopes for a little advice.  I took a hpt this morning and it was a BFN but my breasts are still sore like they usually get before my period and I am not due for one for 2 weeks.  That and the soreness stayed through my last "period" and that is why I am asking b/c it is still here.  Anyone have this thing before and find out they were pregnant or does anyone know what else it could be?  Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

sore breasts can mean anything from pregnancy to fibrocystic breast condition to hormonal imbalance, among other reasons. Please check the information on painful breasts at http://www.imaginis.com for information and recommendations for management. Be sure you are not pregnant before taking any supplements or medications.

Well, I cant say that I know for sure and the best thing to do would be to retest in a few daysand/or go to the doctor, but I get sore the entire week before my pregnancy, then it goes away during. Its like clockwork. But this time it came and never went and my cycle never came. I tested positive last week. My body a couple times a year changes things on me and will go late on my cycle by a week or two sometimes. If you arent due for another two weeks give it a few days then retest with a different brand of test just to be sure. First Responseand Answer have always worked for me...very accurate!!! Good luck!!!

Yeah, some women won't get a positive test until a week or so after period. Always retest before calling the doc!

Yeah I had what I am guessing was my period on Jan 1st but it was much shorter and lighter than it normally is (7 days atleast to completely go away) and my breasts just stayed sore.  I guess I will just have to wait and try again :-)  I've been moody too.

I am in the same boat! My breasts have been sore, nipples too, for the past like two weeks and Im not due for AF until the 24th! Theyve also been fuller and got those little pimple like bumps on them. I also have been noticing some pains around my lower abdominals with some throbbing. I have been a bit hungrier and been really gassy lately. I'm on birth control, but maybe it has failed me!? I feel like I could be pregnant, but I feel like I could be prego everytime I'm close to AF. But my breasts have been hurting for a while now so Im just confused!!
