Still spotting day 7....???

by stellkas, Oct 25, 2007 10:47PM
I am still spotting this is day 7....I seem to be only spotting red blood at night.  I have been staying off my feet as I have been instructed.  I had another ultrasound today and baby looks good, good strong heartbeat.  The doctor says the baby is growing as it should.  She does also say this is a risk factor (obviously), but I just want to know if I am not miscarrying what the heck is it?  Because at night it doesn't look old...It is new.  I am so confused.

I know this might not be much help to you but here goes...first I am not pregnant, but am experiencing the red blood spotting at night. I hope that I am pregnant, but its too early for me to test. I was wondering if you had any spotting before you found out you were pregnant like this? I ovulated 10/17 and have been spotting since then. It started light pink, went to brownish and is now very red, especially at night. AF is due for me 10/31, but I am so frustrated waiting to test. I just wonder if this type of spotting can be a sign of pregnancy or not? Try to take it easy and I am sure you and the baby will be fine. You are lucky to be pregnant...I hope I am too!

I don't know if it is a sign of pregnancy or not.  It is just freaking me out.  I didn't have any of this with my first pregnancy so I don't know.  Good luck to you!  I hope you are

I am 6wks pregnant and I jsut started to have a brown discharge. In my first misscariage everything was fine all of a sudden one day form another I started to bleed. My second pregnancy I didnt even know I was pregnant until I had a brown discharge that then turned into blood and misscaried. I am scared this brown discharge that started today is not a misscariage sign.

I hear you.  I just wish there was a more definant answer to all this instead of waiting for ultrasounds.  I just want to be excited about this pregnancy (as I am sure you feel), but it is so hard to when you don't know what to expect!

My first miscarriage, I had no bleeding at all. This pregnancy I've had spotting (pink and brown) since my 6th week. I'm being monitored weekly and so far every ultrasound has been wonderful and the baby's heartbeat is really strong. One of my friends basically had her period and she is entering her third trimester, another had clots and she is due any day, and a third friend spotted and she is 17weeks. My doctor said if the heartbeat is strong than more than likely the spotting doesn't mean anything. My hcg & progesterone are fine too. Does your doctor monitor your hcg levels?
