Ok, so I'm trying not to worry. I went today for a 28w3d u/s and Baby A is measuring 2 lb 2 oz and Baby B is measuring 2 lb 12 oz. Also, Baby A approximate gestationalGestational diabetes Gestational trophoblastic disease age is 26 1/2 weeks while Baby B is measuring on target at 28 1/2 weeks. At 19 weeks, they were only a couple of days apart. The u/s tech also said that Baby A's abdomen is measuring smaller than B's but commonCommon cold sense seems to tell me that is normalNormal saline flush if Baby A is smaller. My dh and I are trying not to worry until I see the dr. again next week and the radiologist has read the u/s. I just read somewhere on the internet that a difference of greater than 20% in size could mean an impending stillbirth so now I am freaking. Both heartrates were great and they are kicking away. The u/s tech really didn't lean one way or another in saying that something was wrong.
Has anyone ever had this happen and if so, what were the results? Should I be worried or not based upon an u/s tech's observations? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. I just can't imagine losing one of my girls.
I've heard that after 14 weeks babies develope at their own rate. If they aren't identical I wouldn't be too concerned it sounds like they are both healthy to me. :)
