Unwanted pregnancy

I got my period last month. I went for a holiday and developed a vaginal infection, came back and took prescribed pills and creams to get rid of the infection and used my contraceptive pills alongwith it. I am about 10 days late for my period and did a home pregnancy and found out i was pregnant. I just got my period last month (17th Sept) and have been extremely regular in my pills, i havent had intercourse for the past 3 weeks?(i.e since my infection) . Could this be wrong? I need help asap before i go crazy...please help.....

well it sounds like your pregnant but im not sure when have you missed taken the pill or been sick after taken it there is some people like myself who fall pregnant on the pill. it looks like your 6 weeks pregnant

Well, even if you took your b/c pill correctly, if you had to take antibiotics for your infection, they will cause your b/c pill to be ineffective during that time.  You should always use a back-up method if you are taking antibiotics while taking the pill and shame on your doc for not telling you that.  But I'm sure that that is what happened.

yup I agree with Michelle! Antibiotics WILL CAUSE your birth control to be less effective..... so if the test says postive i am pretty sure that your preggo......
