VERY low HCG levels - week 7

Okay....my HCG levels are super low, according to what I am reading online.

4/11/08 - HCG 94; 5.5 weeks LMP
I spent 5 hours in the ER on this day, because of cramping and bleeding for 2 days. They did an ultrasound and couldn't find anything, citing that it was too early in the pregnancy anyway.  I was discharged with a diagnosis of "threatened miscarriage"
4/14/08 - HCG 58; 6 weeks LMP
4/21/08 - HCG 33; 7 weeks LMP

My doctor wants me to do weekly blood tests to monitor this.  But according to websites, my HCG level should not only be increasing, but also in the thousands at this point....not still under 100.  They are saying that I could have miscarried, but aren't saying for sure.  Are they just trying to be nice?

Well, your #'s are going down,which isn't a good sign...........and they should be higher......sorry your going though this.

I was told that if your numbers go down you have a good chance of miscarriage. Let us know what you find out, but if you start cramping or having pain dont hesitate to go to the ER. Good Luck

Okay, maybe this is TMI, but I figured this is a good place to ask.

Yesterday, I started getting very very slight brown spotting (only when wiping), but the weird thing is that there's this snot-like stuff on the TP too.  What's that all about?  I'm wondering if this is my body getting rid of everything, since I'm pretty sure at this point that I've m/c....

unfortunately hun when the numbers go down it is not a good sign..im so sorry!! not to push, but have you passed any clots or anything? the only way to tell if the bodies passed everything is i think to have an ultra sound and get your levels down back under 5 (i think)...

When I had the ER fiasco a few weeks ago, I had a little bit of small clots (about a 1/4 size of a pea), but since they were so small, I don't really know if those count as clots.  

I went in for a blood test again yesterday....we'll see what that says.  At this point, I just want a clear answer.  I hate it being all dragged out like this :(

I hate to say it but it sounds like a m/c as its similar to what i went through but my HCG levels were never monitered but i passed something on the toilet paper which was like you say snot like thing and that was part of he m/c but i had some of the stuff left i hadnt had a complete m/c. They should scan you as they did me and they could tell that i had m/c as it wasnt measuring at the right size and after two weeks it hadnt got any bigger at all so they know that i had m/c but they were waiting for it to be completed which took until mid to end of Jan bearing in mind i started the m/c 26th November. Its horrible going through all thisand my heart goes out to you and please feel free to private message me hun.

I am also passing small "snot like" discharge with bloody traces. At 5 weeks and 1 day i was spotting light pink discharge when wiping. at 5 weeks 3 days i had pink discharge again with traces of blood-- very minimal. At 5 weeks 4 days i had more pink discharge with more traces of blood. I went to ER. they took my hcg levels (344.1) and ultrasound. nothing showed up on ultrasound. 5 weeks 5 days went to dr for pelvic exam. had light pink.brown discharge. 5 weeks 6 days had more bloodwork (waiting on hcg levels) passing clear and red discharge with bloody clots... like the beginning of a period. Today (5 weeks 6 day) is the most blood i have had in the discharge when wiping. I have not used pantiliners or pad because i wasnt "bleeding" but now i have gone to the bathroom multiple times to wipe away bloody discharge. this was not a planned pregnancy and i am not sure whether to worry about HAVING a baby or LOSING  a baby. It is an odd state to be in... anybody have input?
