hi my name is Michelle am 25 1/2 wks pregnant i went to the hospital on friday cause i saw blood they monitored me and did the fFn test to see if i would go in labor the next 3 wks it came back negative i saw my doctor today i was put on the monitor she didnt see any contractions but now my back hurts and am contractin it feels as though am in labor the last time i felt this way is when i was induced with my so any suggestions anyone do u know signs of labor i never experience it on my own so i dont know wat to expect cause with my son i never felt contractions until they gave me pitocin they also rupture my bag to

It could very well be Braxton Hicks contractions. Try looking up a list of Braxton Hicks versus True Labor signs because I can't remember the differences.

I do know that Braxton Hicks will relieve themselves after a while, especially if you drink some water and change positions. True labor will NOT let up!

thank u i drink water and that aint help my back is killin am suppose to be takin it easy but am in the house of course cleanin and cleanin for no reason when am home for the rest of the week

Awww... that's probably why your back hurts!!! When I was pregnant with DD#2 we moved to a new house so I was cleaning and painting and my lower back hurt SO BAD the entire pregnancy! Try using a warming pad on your lower back (NOT belly---don't want to cook the wee one) to help relieve some of the pain! Or use Icy Hot.

They may be braxton hicks, but I am going through the same thing.  About 21/2 weeks ago I went to the hospital because I was having diarreah (sorry tmi) and neausea. The hooked me up to the moniter and I was having contractions and they were very consistant. They decided to try to give me a IV thinking that I may be dehydrated but they did not stop. Finally 3 ivs later they gave me a shot of tributeline. I was released 11 hours later. I followed up with my doctor the following day. He put me on tributeline pills 4x a day to try to stop the contractions. I ended up back at the doctors today and he gave me my 2nd FF test and schudled me for an u/s. He wants to measure the length and weight of the baby. I would follow up with your doctor and be presistant they may not find anything but better to be safe thaqn sorry.

u right cause yesterday i did laundry i guess thats Cameron way of tellin me to be quiet he is tired and want to rest since am a little fat pig lol am goin in the bed hopefully tomorrow all is well thanks again and good nite

i went the doctor today they put me on the monitor the doctor say she aint see no contractions if my back still hurts tomorrow am goin back to the doctor again my baby is measurin a week ahead he is goin to be a fair size i have to do a sono to see how he weighs so far since i gain over 20 lbs before pregnancy i was like 177 or so now am 142 thats alot of weigh right
