I don't think so. I am only at 20 weeks pregnant, first pregnanct.  I am 5'7 and weighed 158 pre pregnancy and at my last appointment 2 weeks ago I weighed 156.  They asked me if I was dieting or trying to lose weight and I said no - I eat anything I want and the nurse told me that everyone is different some ppl lose some, some ppl lose alot and some ppl gain some and some ppl gain alot.  I too have lost 2 pounds, but I haven't gained anything!  I think its okay and so does my midwife. :)

As long as you're healthy, there's really no worries. As durhamjk said, some people tend to lose, some people gain. Are you getting sick at all? I know my sister lost weight until quite far along in her pregnancy. And she had an incredibly healthy little girl.

As long as you're eating healthy, not dieting or really underweight I wouldn't worry about it. Just keep your doctor posted, and I'm sure they'd let you know if there's anything to worry about.

Could it be stress?  Weren't you having problems with your relationship?  Other than that it's nothing to worry about.  Weight fluctuates during pregnancy.  Some women gain a lot one visit and may lose it the next visit.  As long as you're eating and not dieting then everything is fine.  It's not really a significant amount of weight that you lost.  I don't know about you but I know I lose weight in the summer because I just don't have as much an appetite from the heat.

well I did have a lot of stress..   but I'm a thin girl.. and was proably just above "underweight"  when I got pregnant..  so I thought I'd be gaining more weight.. I've gained a total of 13lbs my entire pregnancy..  I'm almost 29 weeks now..  and have lost 2 lbs since my 25th week.

Oh you sound like you're on track. The last stretch is when you gain the most weight as the baby grows like mad! If you are thin it doesn't mean you HAVE to gain more weight, they just say it is considered normal if a thin girl gains more than a girl who is on the heavier side. You'll probably be suprised what comes ahead in the next 10 weeks!

haha, of course that wasn't supposed to be a negative warning! :)

I too love the round pregnant belly! Though my last girl is incredibly tall, and by the end I could barely move! I think she rearranged every bit of insides I had...Oh well, I miss it so much, hope it happens again soon!
