What does preterm labor/contractions feel like?

I am currently 26w6d. I have had BH since I wa about 17 weeks. What does preterm labor/contractions feel like and how do you tell the differnce between them and BH.

real labor contractions will be more consistant and become more painful. usually if they are 5mins apart for a hour or more consistatly then your prob in labor. If you think you in labor i would call or doc asao so they can try to stop it b/c it way to early to have ur baby now. Good Luck.

I am currently 26 weeks as well with my second and I have had BH contractions really early on as well. They are painful but I only have about 6-8 a day, usually after I have urinated. The doctor said that it was normal and it would get worst the further along I got. So I would call you doctor and she what he/she says. As long as it is not every 5-10 mins. apart you should be fine.
