I am 25 years old & RHRh incompatibility- and have never had a successful pregnancy but my question if anyone happens to know the answer is that when i miscarried which was about 4 years ago the clinic I went through for the aftercare of failed to give me a RhogamRhogam Rhogam ultra-filtered plus shot and so I'm concerned now that me & my fiance are trying to get pregnant & knowing that I didn't receive this injection I didn't know since it has been so long if i still should go get the shot or no? And also will this cause any future problems for me in the future because we have been trying for 6 months to get pregnant with no birth controlControl Control rx & have had no luck so i didn't know if that could be a reason? If anyone could shed some light on this for me id really appreciate it!
Also know that it can take 6-12 months for a couple to conceive. Keep in mind that you ovulate about 2 weeks BEFORE your period, not after a period unless you have a typical 28-day cycle. GOOD LUCK!
if the miscarriage was early there probably wont be any problems from it. Do you know if your husband is also rhRh incompatibility -. My last miscarriage was at 6 weeks and the doctor said it was early and rhogam was not needed but luckily we found out my husband is also rh - and now i don't have to worry about it.
my sis-in-law is RH- she didn't get her shots until she was about 12 weeks with either of her children! she miscarried in end of feb 09 and didn't get the shot and ended up getting pregnant on first of april 09...so far so good & it's twins! she got her shot with the twins in june!
