When to start Clomid?

I'm kind of confused and need some help. I was prescribed Clomid from my doctor for the first time and haven't started it yet beacuse I haven't had my period. No period for about 2 1/2 months. Anyway, monday I had some spotting, tues nothing, and today barely anything. Does this count as a period and should I start Clomid on friday for my (5-9) days?? Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks

dont think spotting is counted. day 1 is a normal flow. im on clomid, have been twice b4 with my other kids. dr can give u something to stsrt ur period. goodluck.
