When to take a test...?

I am trying to get pregnant and I was not to sure of when I would be able to take a pregnancy test and it be accurate. Me and my love tried on Oct. 13 and I started my period on Oct. 14 but it only lasted 2 days and spotted once ( which was not normal for me at all ) We have been trying for the past days hoping that I will get pregnant. I am just not too sure that I should take a test due to the odd period or if I should wait to see if I miss my next period... help please

I'd keep trying everyday and wait till your next period, if it's missed.
