The dr.'s office called about 45 mins ago and said my level at 5 weeks 6 days was 7941. I had my levels taken when I was 5 weeks and they were 2281. They didn't come close to doubling. The dr. there said not worried because my numbers and that they looked good and the u/s was very good showing the sack and the yolk. They want me to come in next week. I don't understand why the dr.s office said my numbers are good even thought they didn't double. Has this happen to anyone else and turned out with a good pregnancy? How can I wait a week? I'm a wreck right now.

My numbers never doubled in 48-72hrs, more like 4.5days..... I am now 25 wks 3 days pregnant with a girl and she is as healthy as can be. Just wait to see what your next u/s shows. Good luck.
