I had been on Zoloft for the past 5 months and before that PaxilPaxil Paxil cr (the lowest dosages for both). When I found out I was pregnant I stopped taking Zoloft but the depression and anxiety has returned. I would like to go back on Zoloft but am concerned if, because I quit "cold turkey", it's okay to do so. Should I ease back into it, or can I continue to take it as I had been? I've tried contacting my doctor but have not received a response. If possible, I'd like to go back on it ASAP.
I took Zoloft throughout my entire pregnancy. My dosage was 75mg. Zoloft is the most widely used medication of this type used in pregnancy and breastfeeding. I am not going to tell you to start up without talking to a Dr, but I am telling you is that most Dr's agree that it is safe for use in pregnancy. Good luck!!!
unfortunately zoloft takes a bit to get into the system so u might feel this way for a bit.... Do what i do, keep harassing the doc till she talks to u.
