af 3 days late neg hpt HELP

okay laddies here goes my af was due 3 days ago i have taken numerous hpt and all came back negative my af is regular 28 days every month. But this month was alot different i started spotting for 3 days when i was ovulating which i has never ever happened to me before and now my af is late could the spotting be the cause for my af being late i have no sign of my af starting so im wondering what i should do and if the spotting is linked to me being late

not really sure wait another week and if af still hasnt shown i would take another hpt and if it still says not pregnant i would call your dr good luck
