am i pregnant or is there something wrong with me?

i have been taking birth control pills(progestin only, because im still breastfeeding) for two months now. on the first month i took the pills i had my first period again nafter giving birth(5months aftr giving birth) but on the second month i took the pills i didnt have my period. so i got nervous and thought i might be pregnant again, so i took a home pregnancy test but the result is negative. i took about 5-6 different pregnancy tests(home) and it all came out negative. my question is: how come i didint have my period if im not pregnant? is this a side effect from the pills im taking? is this kind of menstrual irregularity possible? help me please!!!

it is quite normal for bc pills to mess with your cycle.
