I have taken a beta blocker throughout my whole pregnancy currently on 400 mgs of acebutolol a day (was 800 mg I lowered it myself due to constant falling in blood pressure) I am on it for arrythmias and mitral valve prolapse. My high risk ob said beta blockers are fine in pregnancy.
I have chronic hypertension, and I was under the assumption that there are only a few drugs that can be used during pregnancy to control it. I am on 250mg of Aldomet twice a day. I am not sure about the anxiety part of it though, hth :)
I HAVE HYPRTHYROIDISM AND MY DR. JUST GAVE PROPRANOL AND IM TRYING TO GET PREGNANT AND I ASKED IF THIS WAS SAFE FOR A BABY AND THEY SAID THAT IT WAS!!!! SO I GUESS THAT YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!!!!
