can i be pregnant?

hi im name is joanne
i am wondering if i am pregnant
on wednesday 2nd sept 09 i had brown discharge and then the next day it turned to light red blood. i have been having pains in my lower back and cramping in my left side for three weeks now and i am just wonderung if this can be implantion bleeding or something else?

anyone got any info would be quit useful

I could be implantation bleeding. Or it could just be that you are having an irregular cycle. You said that you had brown bleeding on the 2nd and on the 3rd it turned red, did it then turn into a normal period or stop? If it turned into a normal period then my guess would be that you are not pregnant. If it stopped then I would ask you to answer some of these questions so that we can try to give you better answers. But please know, no one can tell you if you are pregnant with the exception of a Dr. or a home pregnancy test.
Do you use any form of birth control? Have you had unprotected sex this month? If so when? When was the first day of you last period? When is your next period due? Do you usually have regular periods i.e. from the start of one to the start of the other is it always 28 days or always 32 days, etc...?
