can i take vicodine while pregnant

i have been having unbearable tooth pain.i am months pregnant but just found out and not ben to a doctor yet.i have been to the emergency room where they did an ultrasound andsaid everything looks good. i had surgery on my appendix about 10 days before they think i got pregnant.they prescribed me vicodine to go home with.now no dentist will see me before i go to the doctorand i have no insurance yet.so my question is can i safely take vicodine while iam pregnant.iam in unbearabl pain and dont kno what else to do.

Nope, I wouldnt. Vicodine is a narcodic and in my opinoin is not safe. Try some tyenol. I would talk to your dr as soon possible. Try a county hospital, they usually take you even with out insurance and than you can apply for some kind of aid:)

i wouldnt take it like blueeyedtabbycat said its a narcodic its not safe there are docs that tell you that its ok any doctor that would say its ok is crazy in my opinon arre they serious
