comfused and worried

I had a scan yesterday and was told I have a 7 week sack and a yolk sack but no heartbeat. have I misscarried?

Sometimes the sac grows at a different rate to the fetus.
It is uncommon but can still produce a healthy bub. On the other hand, in my last pregnancy a similar thing happened, and the baby died (but didnt come out) and I had a d&c at 9w1d.    (bub died at 6w5d)
Until you get a follow up scan or blood test for HCG done, you just don't know.

Did the doctor say they are going to do a repeat scan in a week or so?  Are they doing bloodwork to check your hcg levels to make sure they are rising?  I'm thinking they will repeat the scan in a week, and they may find a hb.  Hope everything works out well for you.
