confused, do u think i could be pregnant?

ok, a week ago i got food poisoning, and the day i got food poisoning i started my period, i had diorrhea pretty much for the whole week withthe food poisoning and the stomach cramps died down after about 3-4 days but i have still been having slight mild stomach cramps and also slight mild feeling of period pain tenderness even theough my period has finished, also i noticed my period was a little different this time, more rusty than usual, and today i am feeling so emotional and crying for no reason really and feelin sorry for myself, i did a pregnancy test today but it came back negative, the last time i had sex was just over a month ago, i jus feel not right in myself and my stomach feels all over the place and ive lost my appetite to, i know this could have a lot to do with the food poisoning but i dont think that that would explain my wierd period painy type symptoms, anybody had similar to this and turned out they were pregnant?? Would really appreciate any advice.
