confused!

so last night i was up from 1.30 - 4.30 having quite painful contractions on average 4 mins apart. what should i expect next? is labour pretty close?? oh yeah after 4.30 the contractions must have died down as i was able to sleep.... thanks in advance for ANY info or advice!

if they stay regular i would go to the hospital but if you are contracting i would call your doctor to find out what they would like for you to do hope this helps and good luck keep us posted

im due on oct 6th so just under 2 weeks.... i was having b.h a couple of weeks ago, that were completely painless, but very regular for a couple of days. but last night the pain woke me up and were very uncomfortable, hopefully slow labour but doubt it cos i have had NOTHING today! i suppose i just have to wait and see!

It's normal to get contractions at night.
The closer you get to your due date, the more intense they'll get.
Once I hit 36-37 weeks with my daughter all the way up till I was 8 days over due and finally got induced, around 7:30 every night, I'd get contractions what would be pretty regular, but after a few hours they'd stop. Usually around 10-11pm when I'd go to bed they'd stop.
I kept going in the the hospital thinking I was in labor, and after several times of being sent back home cuz they weren't "strong enough" or "regular enough", I just learned to ignore them.
They were actually quite painful and were somewhat regular abotu every 4-5 minutes apart. But my daughter just didn't want to come out so the docs hadda make her come out. lol

thanks!! the pains stopped all day yesterday but have started again this morning! hopefully will carry on getting stronger! i bet ill get one of those stubborn babies too lol.... but i am going to try sit on the excercise ball for a bit now! good luck to you when you get to this stage!! and again thanks for replying!
