could i be pregnant?

by harrison1234, Dec 21, 2007 01:47PM
I need opinon...i am confused.  i missed my period last month.  I was bleeding about 7-9 days before my period was due last month for about 3 or 4 days which was very light and was hardly not blood there at all.  I did take a test a day before my period was due which was negative. I then took another two days after the period was due which was also negative.  Since the light bleeding i have been using the toilet alot more, very tired and headaches and was constipated.  i then started getting feelings in my stomach like when you have butterflys along with sore and itch boobs and they feel really heavy.  Some of the symptoms seems to have gone but i am still tired, using the toilet alot and slight pains in my belly.  I thought I wait to see if I get my period this month, which I am now two days late.  I find this weird as I always come on on time and at exactly 12.30pm for the start of the period.  This is the first time I am experiencing this and need some advice.  Do you think I am pregnant even though I did get two negative results previously? x

You could be pregnant even though you have negative HPT's. Some women don't register a positive test until they are two months. I would try and see you doctor and maybe go for a blood test.

Ok I was thinking of seeing my doctor for this but what with the xmas period coming up I am unsure of opening hours.  Can I be pregnant even though some of the symptoms I experienced have disappeared?

i know I have been trying not to stress over it as that will delay it more, but now this is a missed period and 2 days late this month.  I dont really know what to do. Do you think I home pg test would show now?  was you also bleeding lightly more than a week before you period was even due?  Mine was like spotting.

A hpt may very well come up positive by now however some women dont get a positive until 2 months. I was trying to figure out how far along I was with my 2nd when I started to notice symptoms and actually got a positive hpt.  I concieved around Sept. 11th 2005 and started to get my first symptoms which were peeing alot, headaches, and was very tired. I didnt get those until about Oct. 10th 2005. I got my first positive on Oct. 27th So it does take a while sometimes. I had to dig for my journal on this one. I am 8 dpo and hoping that AF does NOT come on 12/25. I think you should try a test again if its still negative go see your doctor......

Ok maybe I will get a test after xmas day - everywhere wont be so packed that way.  Is it still possible to be pregnant even though some of the symptoms have disappeared?  i did feel tired and peeing alot and headached first, which is unusual for me, I am usually really active and my job is very busy all the time and since the missed period I feel totally tired by midday and sluggish.

yes i was bleeding, it was like spotting, but it was after my period, its really weird.you should be able to test again.

Yes its normal for the symptoms to come and go. I think thats part of the reason so many women worry about there pregnancies. As long as your not "bleeding" with severe cramps on one side* then you should be ok. Usually while some symptoms go away you still "feel" pregnant... When I miscarried in 2002 I lost all of my symptoms and didn't "feel" pregnant anymore. I never had any pain or bleeding. I think its a good idea to do the home test. Do you still "feel" pregnant? or "different" as some women put it.

well when i missed my first period I left it a few days and nothing, then I was talking to my cousin who said she experienced being tired etc and I thought I was pregnant.  I guess I felt different but being pregnant was on my mind more after a week or two.  i have not bleed since but about roughly 10 days ago I was getting white discharge, is this also a symptom or not?  I am not to read into the symptoms too much in case I am not pregnant.  i have been getting sharpish pains just below my left boob when my stomach is but no bleeding.  I dont this is relates to pregnancy as I had the same problem a few years ago and the doctor said that it was due to the way I eat.  I am very slim and so would I notice sooner?  I remember when my friend was pregnant she wasnt as slim and noticed after two weeks.
