could it be twins?

Why would my  uterus already be out of my pelvis at 9 weeks?Twins run in my husbands family.Could I be having twins?If anyony has any idea please let me know....

Hi love is your tummy big for nine weeks because when i was 7 weeks pregnant i was BIG i LOOKED 6 MONTHS PREGNANT. And twins run my family. Good luck xx keep us posted.

Did you have twins silver82?  I am wondering the same thing as JenD816.  I have read that they have to run on the mothers side but I have friends that had twins on the fathers side and had twins too.  My fiance has many twins in his family and I'm dying to know.

Yes my belly got big right away...I have two other children and I didnt get this big this fast with either of them....

Thats a sign it could be twins. I sadly lost my twins in August of this year at 7 weeks. Im my family there is twins on my dads side and my partner as twins on his mums side. My Tummy looked 6 months pregnant and i was only 7 weeks. I still looked big when 1 was 4,5, 6 weeks pregnant. Good luck xxxxxxx

Sorry about your lose.Im very scared because I lost one back in feb. and I have been hurting alittle but the doc. said things look good when I went in last week but Im still very worried.... Well my husdands dad is a twin and my greatgandmother on my dads side had two sits of twins....so I dont know....I had an ultrasounds at 5weeks 6days and we only seen one heartbeat but it was so little.I was reading up on it and there was many women that didnt know it was twin untill later on in the pregnantcy.It just been so different for me this time....so I guess we will just have to wait and see.....

Well from reading wat u all wrote am kind of scard.  My mother is a twin and her sibling is a boy.  My mother's other brothers and sisters from her father's side are all twins.  One of the twins got pregnant and she had a twin she got pregnant again and had another twin.  My tummy is bulging a bit and i feel fat i want to eat everything that i ever wanted to eat.  am like goin crazy i dont want to have a twin but i want a girl.  any suggestions.

How far are you? Im really not sure about the whole twin thing.I had a 5 year old and a 3 year old already....So im kindof freakin out too I guess it will be ok but its just goin to be very hard.But I just have to wait and see! good luck

Well i think am like 7wks i have to go back when am nine wks to do a sono to see if a baby is in my gestational sac.  Am so worried the felin being pregnant is drivn me crazy.

i have a 3 yr old and my hubby and I really would like to have multiples...espescially since we are only going to have one more pregnancy.  His Grandfather was a triplet!
