cramping questions

by Jenn102707, Jun 09, 2009 09:43AM
Ok, so I am 6 weeks pregnant and I have noticed some mild cramping lately. Sometimes I feel like they feel like gas and sometimes they feel menstrual like.  Does anybody know if this is normal? This is my first pregnancy and I am just very nervous that these cramps are not normal.

It's completely normal to feel mentrual type cramping throughout your pregnancy.  It's due to the uterus expanding.  Nothing to worry about.  You will feel many aches and pains during your pregnancy.

I'M ABOUT 6 WKS PREGNANCY AND I AM CRAMPING A LOT. THERE ARE NO BLEEDING BUT THE CRAMPS ARE SO BAD THAT IT KEEPS ME FROM DOING MY WORK.  I'M GETING THEM EVER DAY KNOW, DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG THERE USUALLY LAST. THIS IS MY SECOND PREGNANCY AND I DIDN'T GET THESES CRAMPS WITH MY FIRST.  MY DOCTOR WON'T GIVE ME ANY THING FOR THE PAIN OF THESE CRAMPS.
